The Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030
The ACCESS4All project supports an integrated approach, the capacity building of key-factors involved directly or indirectly with the disabled people integration. The consortium’s aim is to find common standards (practitioners’ skills, tools, quality assurance and qualification paths) that are coherent with EU and national/local level requirements.
One of the most important EU initiatives is the Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021–2030 which intends to tackle the diverse challenges that persons with disabilities face and to ensure that they all enjoy their human rights. The Commission will support Member States in shaping their national strategies and action plans to further implement the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the EU legislation in the field.
In this framework, ACCESS4All project is in line EU Commission’s call on Member States to contribute to this new and reinforced Strategy that takes account the diversity of disability.
